Lower the car below stock ride height and you will need adjustable upper control arms (in the front, possibly also in the rear, depending on how much you lower the ride height) to compensate for negative camber beyond stock specs which will create excessive tire wear on the inside portion of the tire treads. You will need to spend additional $ on a 4 wheel alignment at a shop that is familiar with sportscars, regardless of which path you choose. So figure in $100 at a minimum I do not know if the powertrix coilovers can have the shocks replaced after they wear out in 50-60k of street use, nor do I know if the springs are guaranteed not to start sagging, you'd have to call and ask. The way I see it, the extra money you spend on doing it right, will pay for itself in two years in money you save by not wearing out tires on a yearly basis due to sagging springs. Pull your front wheels off and take a look at them. Depending on how old they are, the insides are likely worn well beyond the rest of the tread. The '91 I just helped a local guy install his CO's on today actually had sections of tread separating from the sidewall....VERY dangerous, he had no idea he had a problem ended up buying two new front tires on the spot.
